America's Quest to Rule the World
The Truth About Serbia and the American Government

Before you click away from this website because you might not be Serbian or you might be disinterested, I assure you, the information contained within this website goes way beyond the plight of a small country in eastern Europe. The links on this website contain real evidence about the aims and ambitions of the United States government to rule the world for the purposes of creating great wealth for themselves. The purpose of this site is to only present evidence and real quotes from the actors on the world stage as it relates to American imperialism. This site attempts to stay away from rhetoric, arguments and conspiracy theories to the extent possible. We cannot control the content of links that might contain evidence as well as conclusions. All this site is designed to do is to help cut through the massive amount of noise in this world by pointing you to areas where evidence exists. Think of it as a "portal of truth".  We do not manufacture any of this content. We try to find it and post it in one easy to access location. We also ask for your help in locating additional evidence by forwarding links to us for review and posting.

If you are a Serb, or a part of any other ethnic group in the Balkans, the thorough review of all the links on this website should be mandatory reading to gain a truthful understanding of what has happened to the Balkans in recent history and why. If you are American, the review of this material should also be mandatory so you can form your own untainted opinion of the direction that your government is taking you in. If you are neither from the Balkans or from the United States of America, then this material should at the very least stimulate your thought process. Hopefully you will draw your own conclusions about potential implications for you. You might want to bookmark this website as it might take some time to review all of the material below. You can check back periodically for newly posted material.  We would also encourage you to forward this website as widely as you can. The truth is our only weapon.

We are continuously looking to add factual material to this site.  Please help us if you can.  Forward links for our review.  If we determine that the link contains valuable facts that are also verifiable, or presents evidence disputing public statements, then we will post the link on this site.  To maintain credibility, his site stays away from posting editorials, opinions, rhetoric and arguments that are not immediately backed by facts. Please forward all links to:

Our goal is to forward this website to as many people as possible.  Today's media in the U.S. is largely controlled by five individuals, all of whom have agendas that remain hidden from the public.  Their "shaping" of public opinion and selective reporting make it extremely difficult for the public to know what the truth is.  Even the slowest American knows that CNN is pro-Democrat and that Fox News is pro-Republican. That in itself proves that major media news organizations do not report the news, but shape it instead.  Our near term goal is to have as many Serbians review the material on this website before the May 11th elections in Serbia so that they have as much information on which to base their votes.  Please forward this site to your Serbian family and friends and ask them to forward it along as well.

Most observers and many participants of the break up of Yugoslavia are focused on actions and events within the borders of what was Yugoslavia.  To use a cliché, doing so would not allow you to see the forest for the trees.  Focusing inside Yugoslavia is akin to focusing on a symptom instead of the root cause.  For the root cause of the orchestrated break up of Yugoslavia, take a big picture view of the imperialistic ambitions of the U.S. government and the interests of the corporations who helped put those leaders in power over the years.  Review the material on the links below and you will slowly begin to realize that Yugoslavia is an innocent victim of America’s global ambitions.  No actions undertaken by Yugoslavia could have prevented what has happened there over the last 20 years.

Finding and circulating the truth is a prerequisite for justice and the first step in battling those forces that participated in the break up of Yugoslavia.

Willy Wimmer was the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE and member of the German Bundestag (National Parliament) for the conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU) of former Chancellor Helmut Kohl. On May 2, 2000, Willy Wimmer wrote a letter in the form of a report to the then German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder. The report was on a U.S. State Department/American Enterprise Institute-sponsored conference in Bratislava, Slovakia. The conference was held on April 28-30, 2000, approximately one year after the United States and NATO countries bombed Serbia for 78 straight days. The theme of the conference was “Is Euro-Atlantic Integration Still on Track? Opportunities and Obstacles”.

The links below should be mandatory reading for all Serbs, Americans, Russians and other ethnic groups in the Balkans. The report provides a glimpse into the motivations of the U.S. government and how the Serbia is being used to further those motivations.

For Serbian who can vote on May 11th, 2008, one summary point n the following letter should be noted with great interest.  The attendees at this conference have agreed that: "Serbia (probably for the purposes of securing an unhindered US military presence) must be permanently excluded from European development".  Think about the previous statement before choosing political leaders who would lead you down the path of EU integration.

When speaking publicly, political leaders often times slip up in what they say (human nature being what it is). These slip-ups, or even intentional statements give us a glimpse into what might really be happening. If you viewed the Zeitgeist movie below, you would have seen George W. Bush gaffe when referring to Osama bin Laden as Saddam Hussein. He quickly caught and corrected himself. Vice President Dick Chaney made a similar gaffe when he told Tony Snow during a radio interview “So we've never made the case, or argued the case that somehow Osama bin Laden was directly involved in 9/11. That evidence has never been forthcoming.” It wasn’t until the end of the interview that Tony asks the Vice President to confirm that he meant Saddam Hussein and not Osama bin Laden.

The following article contains a number of quotes from political figures regarding the war on Serbia in 1999. Not only is the article an excellent source of these quotes, but it is an excellent investigation into the legality of the war against Serbia by an MSc in International Public Policy at the University College London.

Tony Blair, then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on the eve of the war against Serbia said “To walk away now would …destroy NATO’s credibility

Michael Ledeen, a scholar close to the Bush administration reportedly said “Every ten years or so, the United States needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show the world we mean business."   Other notable quotes from Michael Ledeen are:

"the level of casualties (in Iraq) is secondary"
"we are a warlike people (Americans)...we love war"
"Change — above all violent change — is the essence of human history"
"the only way to achieve peace is through total war"
"The purpose of total war is to permanently force your will onto another people"
"Every ten years or so, the United States needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show the world we mean business"

Michael Ledeen reveals his political views such as describing the fascist state as "a generator of energy and creativity" in his published book Universal Fascism: The Theory and Practice of the Fascist International, 1928-1936.  For those who might not understand the meaning of fascism, click on the dictionary definition below:

You MUST read Michael Ledeen’s entire biography on Wikipedia.  Form your own opinion on the person who has helped shape so many U.S. administrations:

During the 1999 bombing of Serbia, John Norris had been director of communications for Strobe Talbott, a Deputy US Secretary of State closely involved in the bombing campaign, was a Clinton official and is the Washington Chief of Staff for the International Crisis Group. John Norris said “it was Yugoslavia’s resistance to the broader trends of political and economic reform – not the plight of the Kosovar Albanians – that best explains NATO’s war”

Below is the article containing the aforementioned quotes:

Kathryn Albrecht is a UCLA educated independent political researcher and analyst. She is also the administrator at The Taos Public Library in New Mexico. On her site she has a five part report titled “Whatever Happened to Yugoslavia?” It is quite detailed and might take a while to read, but is it one of the most historically accurate accounts of what really happened during the break up of Yugoslavia that we have come across. Her report is supported by evidence and quotes.

Available on her site is also an examination of the state of nuclear disarmament as well as an article on civilian casualties of America's air war over Afghanistan.

After World War II, Yugoslavia was one of the most successful socialist states in Eastern Europe, both economically and in terms of ethnic diversity. For more than 45 years, all ethnic groups that made up Yugoslavia lived in peace and relative prosperity. As evidenced in Kathryn’s work, Yugoslavia did not break up because of ethnic conflict. The break up was as a result of imperialistic plans and geopolitical pursuits of western governments, particularly the U.S. government. The Serbian people and Slobodan Milosevic have been vilified throughout the entire process. Read Kathryn’s work and decide for yourself.

Kathryn’s work on the break up of Yugoslavia should be mandatory reading for all Serbs and other ethnic groups that made up the former Yugoslavia. It should also be read by Americans and other interested parties as it paints a vivid picture of how the first casualty of war is the truth. For all readers, it will provide very good insight into the operations of the U.S. government.

We believe Kathryn’s work (or diligently researched work like hers) will form the base on which history will record the events surrounding the break up of Yugoslavia.

Below is the link to Kathryn Albrecht’s website:
http://www.zianet.com/lapaz/index.html#first

Her website is a tad cumbersome as you must click on each of five parts separately to read them all. We have placed her report from all five parts into a single document. Click below to read her work on the break up of Yugoslavia without having to click through to get to each section:
http://www.rulersoftheworld.com/WhateverHappenedtoYugoslavia.pdf

If you read Kathryn Albrecht's work from the section above, you will have come across the beginnings of the U.S. government's aim to break up and control Yugoslavia for their own profits.  She states about then President Ronald Reagan:
Reagan issued National Security Decision Directive 54, a "Secret Sensitive" document. The Directive advocated "expanded efforts to promote 'a quiet revolution' to overthrow Communist governments while reintegrating the countries of Eastern Europe into a market-oriented economy." In 1984, the Reagan administration directly targeted Yugoslavia with NSDD 133, "United States Policy toward Yugoslavia", calling for increased intervention. With Tito gone, the U.S. moved to reorganize this sovereign nation. A successful socialist state outside the Western bloc would not be tolerated.

The International Monetary Fund became the chief weapon used to destroy Balkan unity.
Increased ethnic friction, then, can be seen as only a secondary cause of the dismemberment of Yugoslavia. As British economist and political analyst Sean Gervasi
has stated, "Foreign intervention was designed to create precisely the conflicts which the
Western powers decried."

IMF austerity measures were imposed in autumn 1989. The currency was further
devalued, wages frozen, and state industries deemed "unprofitable under structural
adjustment" (worker-owned companies) were closed. Unemployment immediately rose
20%. The federal government in Belgrade regularly transferred treasury payments to the
republics and autonomous regions. Those payments were now stopped, the funds
mandated by the IMF to service foreign debt. As the Berlin Wall was falling, wages in
Yugoslavia fell 41%.

Below are links to partially declassified files from Ronald Reagan.
National Security Decision Directive 54 is the U.S. Policy Toward Eastern Europe:

National Security Decision Directive 133 is the U.S. Policy Toward Yugoslavia:

On November 5, 1990, a year before the civil wars in Yugoslavia have started, the US Congress passed the 1991 Foreign Operations Appropriation Law 101-513. This bill, without a previous warning, cut all aid, trade, credits and loans to Yugoslavia and then pushed the World Bank and International Monetary Fond to do the same. The bill derecognized the country of Yugoslavia and announced that the U.S. will deal with the constituent republics instead.  This bill was a signed death warrant. One provision in particular was so lethal that even a CIA report described three weeks later in the Nov. 27, 1990, New York Times predicted it would lead to a bloody civil war.

Diana Johnstone was the European editor of In These Times from 1979 to 1990, and press officer of the Green group in the European Parliament from 1990 to 1996. She is author of The Politics of Euromissiles: Europe in America's World (Verso/Schocken, 1984) and is currently working on a book on the former Yugoslavia. Below are her accounts of the break up of Yugoslavia based on her research.

UNMIK is the United Nation’s Mission in Kosovo. In 2004, they released the press release below to quell all of the media reports of mass graves in Kosovo.  Unfortunately, this press release was not on the front page of newspapers worldwide half a decade after the bombing of Serbia:

http://www.unmikonline.org/justice/pressr/pr1109.pdf

"Castigating the press for 'journalistic crimes' committed during its reporting on the Balkans wars of the 1990s, retired New York Times reporter David Binder claims the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting awarded to both the Times and New York's Newsday 'should, in all fairness and honesty, be revoked.'  Binder was speaking at a press conference for the release of a new book criticizing the war reporting. Binder wrote the foreword to the book by Peter Brock, titled 'Media Cleansing: Dirty Reporting, Journalism and Tragedy in Yugoslavia.' 'What we're looking at here is a series catalogued by Peter Brock of journalistic crimes,' said Binder..... During his recent appearance at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Binder said it would take 'at least a decade' before historians 'clear out that wretched underbrush of lies and concoctions' from 'despicable' politicians 'like Richard Holbrooke,' an international negotiator during the administration of former President Bill Clinton and 'certainly the journalists' criticized in Brock's book. The rise of blogs and media watchdog groups offers a 'corrective' for the public now, Binder contended."

Peter Brock's book is available at the following link:
http://www.gmbooks.com/product/MediaCleansing.html

or here:
http://www.amazon.com/Media-Cleansing-Dirty-Reporting-Journalism/dp/1882383303

Peter Brock’s book is a must read.  Interesting facts are presented such as the torturing of Borislav Herak to provide a false confession to disgraced New York Times “journalist” John F. Burns.  That confession was used to convict Sretko Damjanovic for the killing of two Muslim brothers who were later found alive. Both Herak and Damjanovic were sentenced to death by firing squad.

Below is a link reporting on David Binder's press conference.

Albanian secessionists in Kosovo, the Croatian secessionists and the Bosnian Muslims hired an American public relations firm, Ruder Finn, to advance their causes by demonizing the Serbs. Ruder Finn deliberately targeted certain publics, notably the American Jewish community, with a campaign likening Serbs to Nazis. Feminists were also clearly targeted by the Croatian nationalist campaign directed out of Zagreb to brand Serbs as rapists.

The role of the Washington public relations firm, Ruder Finn, is by now well-known, but seems to have raised few doubts as to the accuracy of the anti-Serb propaganda it successfully diffused. See
Peter Brock's published article "Dateline Yugoslavia: The Partisan Press" in Foreign Policy, Number 93, Winter 1993-94, pages 152 - 172.

Rev. Dr. Robert M. Bowman, retired Lieutenant Colonel, United States Air Force, painstakingly assembled a chronology of Serbia and Serbians in an effort to educate the American people regarding the truth about Serbia and the truth about the U.S. government.  It is an excellent piece of research with cited sources backing his research.  His motivations are summarized at the end of the chronology.  I have reprinted them here to entice more curious Americans to educate themselves on the workings of their government.  His conclusions have striking similarities to the Zeitgeist movie (link is below).  Dr. Bowman’s closing comments are:

“It has not been easy pulling together this chronology of events. It is no wonder so many Americans have been confused. They have been misled. Somehow, we the American people must regain control of the corporate-owned media and the corporate-owned government of this country [U.S.A.]. Otherwise, there will be more Vietnams, more Grenadas, more Iraqs, more Bosnias, more Kosovos ... until the billionaires and their multinational corporations and banks control everything — all the land, the governments, the resources, the money, and the people. All of us in every land will be reduced to cheap labor and consumers of each others products. None of us will own anything. We will have no rights. We will be expendable, like the people in Iraq and the Balkans.

The people of the United States must realize that if we allow our government to do these things to the people of foreign lands, one day it will do them to us. If we cannot muster the courage and moral fiber to say "NO" to the corporate wars against people in other lands because we have love and compassion for them, then let us at least say it out of enlightened self-interest. But say it we must. NO more El Salvadors ... NO more Nicaraguas ... NO more Vietnams ... NO more Iraqs ... NO more Kosovos ... NO!!”

During the war against Yugoslavia in 1999, all NATO politicians engaged in a campaign of propaganda to justify the illegal war and to shape public opinion within their respective countries.  In Germany, the Social Democratic (SPD)-Green party coalition government employed fabrications and manipulated facts to overcome popular opposition to the participation of the German armed forces in NATO's war against Yugoslavia.  On February 8, 2001, a German TV report by journalists Jo Angerer and Mathias Werth entitled “It Began With a Lie” was first broadcast on the nationwide ARD public channel.  The report set off large-scale public discussions in Germany as it provided proof of the propaganda and shaping of public opinion with lies regarding the illegal bombing campaign.  Below is a report on the events surrounding the aforementioned TV report:

Below is the German TV report by journalists Jo Angerer and Mathias Werth entitled “It Began With a Lie” (available below with English subtitles).  It is broken out into five parts, so it is a bit cumbersome, but the only version that we found with English subtitles:

Many of you have no doubt seen an email circulating about George W. Bush's accomplishments.  If not, we've listed them below:

  • Was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. Pled guilty, paid a fine, and had driver's license suspended for 30 days. George Bush’s Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available
  • Joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. Refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about his drug use. Joined the Texas Air National Guard, to avoid combat duty in Vietnam
  • Graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Was a cheerleader
  • Ran for US Congress and lost
  • Began business career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975.   Bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas.   The company went bankrupt shortly after he sold all of his stock
  • Bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money
  • With the help of his father and his friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), was elected governor of Texas
  • As governor of Texas, he changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During his tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America
  • As governor of Texas he cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money
  • He set the record  for the most executions by any governor in American history
  • With the help of his brother Jeb, the governor of Florida, and his father's appointments to the Supreme Court, he became President of the United States, after losing by over 500,000 votes
  • He is the first President in US history to enter office with a criminal record
  • He invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week
  • He spent the US surplus and effectively bankrupted the US Treasury
  • He shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in US history
  • He set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed  in any 12-month period
  • He set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period
  • He set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the US stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues
  • He’s “proud” that the members of his cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. My "poorest millionaire,” Condoleezza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her
  • He set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a US President
  • He is the all-time US and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations
  • His largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of his best friends, Enron CEO Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in US  history
  • His political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure his success with the US Supreme Court during his election decision
  • He protected his friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution.  More time and money was spent  investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent  investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history
  • He presided over the biggest energy crisis in US history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed
  • He  presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history
  • He changed the US policy to allow convict convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
  • He appointed more convicted criminals to his administration than any President in US history
  • He created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the US Government
  • He’s broken more international treaties than any President in US history
  • He is the first President in US history to have the United  Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission
  • He  withdrew the US from the World Court of Law
  • He refused to allow inspectors access to US "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby refused to abide by the Geneva Convention
  • He is the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 US election)
  • He set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television
  • He set the all-time Presidential record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August in 2001, he presided over 9/11 (please view Zeitgeist movie below)
  • He garnered the most sympathy ever internationally for the US after the World Trade Center attacks (please view Zeitgeist movie below), and less than a year later made the US the most hated country in the world.  It was the largest failure of  diplomacy in world history
  • He has set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest anyone in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind
  • He ordered an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. He did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of US citizens and the world community
  • He cut health care benefits for war veterans and supported a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families in wartime
  • In his State of the Union Address, he lied about reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on his British friends
  • He is the first President in history, to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view his presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security
  • He is supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a Weapon of Mass Destruction
  • He has so far (not surprisingly) failed to fulfill his pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice (please view Zeitgeist movie below)
  • All records of his tenure as governor of Texas are now in his father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view
  • All records of SEC investigations into his insider trading and his bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view
  • All records or minutes from meetings that he, or his Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review. He specified that his sealed documents will not be available for 50 years

In 1998, former President George Bush Sr. wrote a book called “A World Transformed”.  Chapter 19 talks about the 1991 Gulf War to liberate Iraq known as Desert Storm.  George Bush Sr. details why it would have been foolish to extend the ground war into an occupation of Iraq.  His predictions were very accurate given that his son played out that exact scenario.  Below is the excerpt from the book:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/quotes/gulfwar.asp

The Project for the Old American Century is a spoof name by an organization created to present and distribute under-reported news items focusing on U.S. corporate and government corruption as well as the global aspirations of the U.S. government. They make available free of charge all of their archives and do their own research into conflicts of interest and cronyism.  Their name is a spoof name because it directly attacks The Project for the New American Century.

The Project for the New American Century was established in 1997 by Robert Kagan and William Kristol and funded by three foundations closely tied to Persian Gulf oil and weapons and defense industries. Calling themselves, "Neoconservatives" this small group of ideologues penned a Statement of Principles outlining their plan for a New American Century wherein the United States, as the world's lone superpower would use its military might to topple regimes in the middle East and elsewhere that were unfriendly to U.S. CORPORATE INTERESTS.  On their website you can read their document Rebuilding America’s Defenses ( .pdf format ).  According to this document (page 51-52). "The process of transformation," the plan said, "is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor." American Free Press asked Christopher Maletz, asst. director of the PNAC about what was meant by the "need for a new Pearl Harbor": "They needed more money to up the defense budget for raises, new arms, and future capabilities," Maletz said. Without some disaster or catastrophic event, neither the politicians nor the military would have approved. The new Pearl Harbor in the form of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, provided the necessary catalyst to put the global war plan into effect. Congress quickly allocated $40 billion to fund the “war on terrorism” shortly after 9/11 (please view the Zeitgeist movie below).  The aforementioned article above is a MUST READ for anyone interested in uncovering U.S. imperialism.

The first leg of the PNAC imperialistic agenda was to secure the oil supply of the Middle East. As far back as 1998 The PNAC was pressuring President Bill Clinton  for the invasion of Iraq.  Nearly all of the top levels of the Whitehouse and Pentagon have been or still are members of this fascist organization.

Dick Cheney Vice President
Donald Rumsfeld Secretary of Defense
I. Lewis Libby Vice President Cheney’s Chief of Staff and Assistant to the Vice President for National Security Affairs
Aaron Friedberg Vice President Cheney’s deputy National Security advisor
Robert Zoelick US Deputy Secretary of State
Paula Dobriansky Undersecretary of State
Elliott Abrams Deputy National Security Adviser
Frank Gaffney Pentagon's Defense Policy Board
Fred C. Ikle Pentagon's Defense Policy Board
Eliot A. Cohen Pentagon's Defense Policy Board
Henry S. Rowen Pentagon's Defense Policy Board
William J. Bennett Presidential speech writer
Jeb Bush Governor of Florida
Paul Wolfowitz World Bank President
John Bolton Ambassador to the U.N.

While the PNAC has its own website and has published its papers outlining its plan for military and corporate global domination, the organization is never spoken of in mainstream media. The refusal of the opposition democratic party to unite and publicly address and renounce the Project for the New American Century is alarming, to say the least.

Susan L. Woodward is a senior fellow in the Foreign Policy Studies program at the Brookings Institution and the author of Socialist Unemployment: The Political Economy of Yugoslavia, 1945-1990 (Princeton University Press). During much of 1994 she served as a senior adviser to Yasushi Akashi, the top UN official in the former Yugoslavia and special representative of UN Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

Below is a link to her book titled "Balkan Tragedy":
http://www.brookings.edu/press/Books/1995/balkantr.aspx

Recognition of the internal administrative borders between the Republics as "inviolable" international borders was in effect a legal trick, contrary to international law, which turned the Yugoslav army into an "aggressor" within the boundaries its soldiers had sworn to defend, and which transformed the Serbs within Croatia and Bosnia, who opposed secession from their country, Yugoslavia, into secessionists. This recognition flagrantly violated the principles of the 1975 Final Act (known as the Helsinki Accords) of the Conference on, now Organization for, Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), notably the territorial integrity of States and nonintervention in internal affairs. Truncated Yugoslavia was thereupon expelled from the OSCE in 1992, sparing its other members from having to hear Belgrade's point of view. Indeed, the sanctions against Yugoslavia covered culture and sports, thus eliminating for several crucial years any opportunity for Serbian Yugoslavs to take part in international forums and events where the one-sided view of "the Serbs" presented by their adversaries might have been challenged.

Below are a couple of sections from the Conference on Security and Co-Operation in Europe Final Act Helsinki 1975.  With reference to Yugoslavia, think about how many sections were violated by member countries of the OSCE:

I. Sovereign equality, respect for the rights inherent in sovereignty
The participating States will respect each other's sovereign equality and individuality as well as all the rights inherent in and encompassed by its sovereignty, including in particular the right of every State to juridical equality, to territorial integrity and to freedom and political independence. They will also respect each other's right freely to choose and develop its political, social, economic and cultural systems as well as its right to determine its laws and regulations.

Within the framework of international law, all the participating States have equal rights and duties. They will respect each other's right to define and conduct as it wishes its relations with other States in accordance with international law and in the spirit of the present Declaration. They consider that their frontiers can be changed, in accordance with international law, by peaceful means and by agreement. They also have the right to belong or not to belong to international organizations, to be or not to be a party to bilateral or multilateral treaties including the right to be or not to be a party to treaties of alliance; they also have the right to neutrality.

II. Refraining from the threat or use of force
The participating States will refrain in their mutual relations, as well as in their international relations in general, from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State, or in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations and with the present Declaration. No consideration may be invoked to serve to warrant resort to the threat or use of force in contravention of this principle.

Accordingly, the participating States will refrain from any acts constituting a threat of force or direct or indirect use of force against another participating State. Likewise they will refrain from any manifestation of force for the purpose of inducing another participating State to renounce the full exercise of its sovereign rights. Likewise they will also refrain in their mutual relations from any act of reprisal by force.

No such threat or use of force will be employed as a means of settling disputes, or questions likely to give rise to disputes, between them.

III. Inviolability of frontiers
The participating States regard as inviolable all one another's frontiers as well as the frontiers of all States in Europe and therefore they will refrain now and in the future from assaulting these frontiers.

Accordingly, they will also refrain from any demand for, or act of, seizure and usurpation of part or all of the territory of any participating State.

IV. Territorial integrity of States
The participating States will respect the territorial integrity of each of the participating States.

Accordingly, they will refrain from any action inconsistent with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations against the territorial integrity, political independence or the unity of any participating State, and in particular from any such action constituting a threat or use of force.

The participating States will likewise refrain from making each other's territory the object of military occupation or other direct or indirect measures of force in contravention of international law, or the object of acquisition by means of such measures or the threat of them. No such occupation or acquisition will be recognized as legal.

V. Peaceful settlement of disputes
The participating States will settle disputes among them by peaceful means in such a manner as not to endanger international peace and security, and justice.

They will endeavour in good faith and a spirit of co-operation to reach a rapid and equitable solution on the basis of international law.

For this purpose they will use such means as negotiation, enquiry, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, judicial settlement or other peaceful means of their own choice including any settlement procedure agreed to in advance of disputes to which they are parties.

In the event of failure to reach a solution by any of the above peaceful means, the parties to a dispute will continue to seek a mutually agreed way to settle the dispute peacefully.

Participating States, parties to a dispute among them, as well as other participating States, will refrain from any action which might aggravate the situation to such a degree as to endanger the maintenance of international peace and security and thereby make a peaceful settlement of the dispute more difficult.

VI. Non-intervention in internal affairs
The participating States will refrain from any intervention, direct or indirect, individual or collective, in the internal or external affairs falling within the domestic jurisdiction of another participating State, regardless of their mutual relations.

They will accordingly refrain from any form of armed intervention or threat of such intervention against another participating State.

They will likewise in all circumstances refrain from any other act of military, or of political, economic or other coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by another participating State of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.

Accordingly, they will, inter alia, refrain from direct or indirect assistance to terrorist activities, or to subversive or other activities directed towards the violent overthrow of the regime of another participating State.

X. Fulfilment in good faith of obligations under international law
The participating States will fulfil in good faith their obligations under international law, both those obligations arising from the generally recognized principles and rules of international law and those obligations arising from treaties or other agreements, in conformity with international law, to which they are parties.

In exercising their sovereign rights, including the right to determine their laws and regulations, they will conform with their legal obligations under international law; they will furthermore pay due regard to and implement the provisions in the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe

The participating States confirm that in the event of a conflict between the obligations of the members of the United Nations under the Charter of the United Nations and their obligations under any treaty or other international agreement, their obligations under the Charter will prevail, in accordance with Article 103 of the Charter of the United Nations.

All the principles set forth above are of primary significance and, accordingly, they will be equally and unreservedly applied, each of them being interpreted taking into account the others.

The participating States express their determination fully to respect and apply these principles, as set forth in the present Declaration, in all aspects, to their mutual relations and co-operation in order to ensure to each participating State the benefits resulting from the respect and application of these principles by all.

The participating States, paying due regard to the principles above and, in particular, to the first sentence of the tenth principle, "Fulfilment in good faith of obligations under international law", note that the present Declaration does not affect their rights and obligations, nor the corresponding treaties and other agreements and arrangements.

The participating States express the conviction that respect for these principles will encourage the development of normal and friendly relations and the progress of co-operation among them in all fields. They also express the conviction that respect for these principles will encourage the development of political contacts among them which in time would contribute to better mutual understanding of their positions and views.

The participating States declare their intention to conduct their relations with all other States in the spirit of the principles contained in the present Declaration.

"What's the point of having this superb military that you're always talking about if we can't use it?" said Madeleine Albright, then U.S. ambassador to the U.N.

The above quote is from Colin Powell's book "My American Journey", Random House, New York 1995, page 576

Madeleine Albright lived in Belgrade, Serbia with her family between 1936-1938 and 1945-1948.  Her family, of Jewish descent, moved from Czechoslovakia to Belgrade in 1936 partly to avoid the Nazis' persecution.  Serbian people consider her a war criminal for her actions during the break up of Yugoslavia.  Below is a review of her years of living in Serbia along with photos as well as other facts:
http://www.srpska-mreza.com/library/facts/Mad.html

Former Hague Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte says in her book “The Hunt” that the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (“UNMIK”) hindered the Hague Tribunal’s work.  UNMIK hindered the investigation into former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leader Ramush Haradinaj for crimes against Serbs, Roma and Albanians in Kosovo in 1998.  UNMIK had started handing policing powers in Kosovo over to Albanians who had been former KLA members and who had “intimidated prosecution witnesses instead of protecting them”.  UNMIK administration was weak and controlled by Albanians, who practically rendered the UN mission pointless.  “How can the rule of law be implemented if UNMIK chiefs so openly support a person who is accused of some of the gravest crimes in international law?” Del Ponte asks.  “A message is being sent that Tribunal indictments are meaningless, and that one accused is well regarded and even supported by the head of the UN mission.”  Read an article below stating her comments on the Haradinaj investigation:
http://www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes-article.php?yyyy=2008&mm=03&dd=19&nav_id=48596

Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte’s office obtained information that UNMIK investigators and officials had received from groups of so-called reliable journalists, according to whom, Kosovo Albanians had transferred 300 Serb and other non-Albanian hostages in trucks to northern Albania in the summer of 1999 to remove and sell their organs before killing them.  Read those excerpts below:
http://www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes-article.php?yyyy=2008&mm=03&dd=21&nav_id=48671

An association of the families of kidnapped Kosovo Serbs who's organs were removed for sale says it will file a lawsuit against Carla Del Ponte.  The announcement came Sunday after new details emerged from the former chief Hague Tribunal prosecutor's new book, which shed new light on the possible fate of the Serbs still missing from the province.
http://www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes-article.php?yyyy=2008&mm=03&dd=23&nav_id=48733

These villainous crimes, compared just to the horrors of Third Reich, were held by the leaders of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) whose co-leader was the present-day prime minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaci. His profile, gathered by his opponents, contains the evidence of dozens of crimes made by him as a field commander against the Serbians in Kosovo.

According to Simo Spasich, the head of the Missing in Action Families Union, he met Carla del Ponte several times and gave her the documents, containing evidence of Kosovo’s Serbians kidnapping and killing in concentration camps. However even after the prosecutor visited the house where the organs have been removed, in the town of Burel in the north of Albania, to see herself medical equipment and blood that proved del Ponte was right, no further investigation was proposed.  In the recent interview to the Italian La Stampa Carla del Ponte convinced that today a war criminal’s pursuit is connected with solely politics.

Do you believe that 19 countries bombed Serbia in 1999 because of the plight of the Kosovo Albanians?  The Trepca mining complex was a highly coveted Balkan asset.  Read about how Kosovo’s spoils were distributed:
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2002/jun2002/trep-j28.shtml

From their military base in Kosovo, Camp Bondsteel, America plans to control Caspian oil.  Camp Bondsteel, the biggest “from scratch” foreign US military base since the Vietnam War in the Yugoslav province of Kosovo. It is located close to vital oil pipelines and energy corridors presently under construction, such as the US sponsored Trans-Balkan oil pipeline. As a result defence contractors—in particular Halliburton Oil subsidiary Brown & Root Services—are making a fortune.:
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2002/apr2002/oil-a29.shtml

The current US Vice President (Dick Cheney) used to be the CEO (and now a  large shareholder) of Halliburton Technologies. More interestingly, Halliburton (US company) holds the contracts for both Camp Bondsteel and the US-Caspian pipeline:
http://www.halliburtonwatch.org/about_hal/ethics.html

Halliburton is profiting  handsomely in Iraq as well:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/09/26/politics/main575356.shtml

Camp Bondsteel was not the outgrowth of a humanitarian or “Just War” on behalf of Kosovar Albanians. The construction of Camp Bondsteel had been envisaged well in advance of the bombings and invasion of Kosovo in 1999.  The plans to build Camp Bondsteel under a lucrative multibillion dollar DoD contract with Halliburton’s Texas based subsidiary KBR were formulated while Dick Cheney was Halliburton’s CEO.

The US and NATO had advanced plans to bomb Yugoslavia before 1999, and many European political leaders now believe that the US deliberately used the bombing of Yugoslavia to establish camp Bondsteel in Kosovo.. According to Colonel Robert L. McCure, “Engineering planning for operations in Kosovo began months before the first bomb was dropped.” (See Lenora Foerstel, Global Research, January 2008)

One of the objectives underlying Camp Bondsteel was to protect the Albanian-Macedonian-Bulgarian Oil pipeline project (AMBO), which was to channel Caspian sea oil from the Bulgarian Black Sea port of Burgas to the Adriatic.

Nine years and two wars later, the Kosovo issue has re-emerged. It is an integral part of the broader military roadmap. It is intimately related to the post 9/11 US led wars in Central Asia and the Middle East.

The Balkans constitute the gateway to Eurasia. The 1999 invasion establishes a permanent US military presence in Southern Europe, which serves the broader US led war. Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq: these three theater wars were waged on humanitarian grounds. Without exception, in all three countries, US military bases were established.

http://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com/2008/02/04/the-criminalization-of-the-state-independent-kosovo-a-territory-under-us-nato-military-rule-by-michel-chossudovsky/

The main purpose for the Bondsteel military base is to provide security for the construction of the Albanian-Macedonian-Bulgarian oil pipeline (AMBO).  The AMBO trans-Balkan pipeline will link up with the corridors between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea basin, which holds close to 50 billion barrels of oil.

No concessions by President Slobodan Milosevic would have prevented the bombing. Building Camp Bondsteel was the US mission, and, by whatever means necessary, it would be built to ensure the completion of a pipeline to the Caspian Sea.
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=7941

Why is NATO at go to war with Yugoslavia? World power, oil and gold:
http://www.wsws.org/articles/1999/may1999/stat-m24.shtml

AMBO is short for Albanian Macedonian Bulgarian Oil Corp, an entity registered in the US. The $1.1 billion AMBO pipeline (also known as the Trans-Balkan), supposed to be finished by 2011, will get oil brought from the Caspian Sea to a terminal in Georgia and then by tanker through the Black Sea to the Bulgarian port of Burgas, and relay it through Macedonia to the Albanian port of Vlora.

Clinton's NATO war against Yugoslavia and pro-Albania was thus crucial to secure Vlora's strategic location. The oil will then be shipped to Rotterdam in the Netherlands and refineries on the US West Coast, thus bypassing the ultra-congested Bosphorus Strait and the Aegean and the Mediterranean seas.

The original AMBO feasibility study, as early as 1995, and then updated in 1999, is by a British subsidiary of Halliburton, Brown and Root Energy Services. AMBO fits into Vice President Dick Cheney's (and before him, Clinton's energy secretary Bill Richardson's) US energy security grid. It's all about go-for-broke militarization of the crucial energy corridor from the Caspian through the Balkans, and about trying to isolate or sabotage both Russia and Iran.

The link below is to a documentary movie called “Zeitgeist”. You may have seen this documentary already. Check with the site periodically as they will also release the movie with subtitles in English, Serbian, Norwegian, Slovak, Greek, German, Russian, Hungarian, Dutch, Swedish, Chinese, Italian, Bulgarian, Slovenian, Japanese, Portuguese, Arabic, Polish, Czech, French, Spanish and Hebrew. The movie is just over two hours long. We assure you, it is well worth your time. If you are pressed for time, we recommend that you forward to the 40 minute mark of the movie where part 2 begins. Part 1 has nothing to do with the U.S. government.   Part 1 is a critical look at all religions, so if you are religious, do not let the first 40 minutes keep you from watching the remainder of the movie.  Part 2 onwards should be mandatory viewing for all American citizens, particularly for those who lost loved ones in 9/11. The movie should also be viewed by anyone who is bothered by the American government's actions throughout the world.  This movie raises many questions by offering evidence to counter what was told to us by the U.S. government.

If the U.S. government would kills so many of its own citizens for their own imperialistic aims, then it is easy to see why they were indifferent to killing so many Serbs ("collateral damage") during the 1999 bombing campaign.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has released a new report in March 2008.  It warned that the axis between South American drug cartels and the Albanian mafia have reached "alarming proportions", while reports by several intelligence agencies show that Kosovo is a distribution center on the crossroads of global routes and pathways of drug trafficking.

Former official of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Michael Levine has said that one of the wings of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) was "linked with every known narco-cartel in the Middle East and the Far East", and that almost every European intelligence service and police has files on "connections between ethnic Albanian rebels and drug trafficking".

"Albania and Kosovo are the heart of the Balkan drug trade route which links Pakistan and Afghanistan with Europe. That route is worth around USD 7bn annually and around 80 percent of the heroin intended for the western European market is smuggled along this route," said a report presented to the U.S. Congress.

International representatives in Kosovo complained in the recent years that it is "difficult to estimate, in the complicated relations on the political scene of the Kosovo Albanians and ethnic Albanians in Macedonia or southern Serbia, whether politics controls organized crime or the mafia controls politicians".

The agency says it its report that it is "also possible, however, that organized criminal groups in Kosovo in fact have no influence on the authorities because they are actually those who are in power, as Italian General Fabio Mini said on his departure from the post of commander of KFOR, the international peacekeeping force in Kosovo".  Read the entire article below:

Becoming the president of the United States is a lucrative financial proposition.  If you believe that these individuals enter public service and earn $400,000 annually serving the American public and $150,000 annually as a pension, then think again.  Nobody is sure exactly the wealth that sitting and former U.S. presidents accumulate, but the following article on the Clintons might give you a flavour for what range they are in as well as where some of this wealth comes from.  Are policy decisions that comes from the white house based solely on politics, or are there conflicts of interest and hidden agendas that allow political leaders to create incredible wealth for themselves and their friends?  Read below:

The Movie Judgment! Exposes the Phony 'Death Camp' Pictures that Fooled the World.  In August 1992, millions of people were shocked to see photographs of a supposed Bosnian Serb death camp.

The photos were produced by ITN, the British TV news giant, from footage shot by an ITN film crew which spent a long day in Bosnia. The film was shot in a refugee center in the town of Trnopolje. (Pronounced Tern-op-ol-yay)

Most of the photographs featured a tall, emaciated man with a deformed chest, stripped to the waist, apparently imprisoned behind barbed wire. Do you remember those pictures?

They were a hoax. They were the start of the "demonization" of the Serb people.  The movie Judgment! is undisputable PROOF that those images were a hoax.

View the movie Judgment! for free below on You Tube or purchase the movie, but if you don't think this movie proves that the world was lied to about Bosnia, Emperor's Clothes (http://www.tenc.net/) will refund every penny

There are two websites that have a similar goal to this website.  One of them is the Emperor's Clothes:
http://www.tenc.net/

You can spend many hours on these two websites as they contain evidence and proof of the breakup of Yugoslavia and western policies towards Serbia.

The editor of the Emperor’s Clothes is Jared Israel, a third generation American of Polish and Lithuanian Jewish ancestry whose relatives on his mother's side were all killed by the World War II German and Lithuanian Nazis.  Read Jared’s biography below:
http://emperors-clothes.com/editors.html

Within his bio page, read the letter that was written by a Jewish physician from Serbia.  It describes the relationship between Serbs and Jews within Serbia and the great lengths that the Serbs went to during the Second World War to shelter Jews from the Nazis.  A quote from the letter is below:

"It is my desire as a Jew and as a Serb that in free democratic countries where Jews are still enjoying full freedom and equality they should show gratitude to the Serbian people, pointing out their noble acts, their humane feelings, and their high civic consciousness and culture.... "

Jared displays his shock as the western media targeted powerful American Jewish organizations during the breakup of Yugoslavia.   Even though the Sebs had died protecting Jews during WWII and enjoyed very good relations with Jews, American Jewish leaders branded the Serbs as "the new Nazis" and called President Milosevic "the new Hitler".

The other website containing very good information about Serbia and the reasons for its breakup is the Serbian Network:
http://www.srpska-mreza.com/

The website is co-edited by Petar Makara who is a computer scientist. Dr. Makara lives in the United States but hails from Yugoslavia. He has spent considerable effort informing the western world about the attack on the country of his birth. There are many documents on Petar’s website that display the cordial historical relationship between Serbs and Jews.

Joseph Farah is founder, editor and CEO of World Net Daily and a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicate. His latest book is "Stop The Presses: The Inside Story of the New Media Revolution." He also edits the online intelligence newsletter Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, in which he utilizes his sources developed over 30 years in the news business.

Read Joseph’s commentary which quotes American leaders Bill Clinton, Defense Secretary William Cohen, Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., former Sen. Bob Dole and David Scheffer, U.S. ambassador for war crimes leading up to and during the 1999 bombing campaign of Serbia:

"By the time the snows fall next winter, there will be genocide documented on a large scale in Kosovo," said Biden.

"History will judge us harshly if we do not take action to stop this rolling genocide," said Hagel.

"What we have in Kosovo and what (we) had in Bosnia was genocide, and that's why I think we should intervene," said Dole.

"There are indications genocide is unfolding in Kosovo," said State Department spokesman Jamie Rubin.

Cohen characterized the bombing campaign as a "fight for justice over genocide."

Scheffer said Kosovo was one of the top three genocides since 1950, rivaled only by Rwanda and Cambodia.

Bill Clinton compared the atrocities in Kosovo to the Holocaust. Kosovo, he said, "is not war in the traditional sense. Imagine what would happen if we and our allies instead decided just to look the other way as these people were massacred on NATO's doorstep."

It turns out that as few as 2,108 people were actually killed in Kosovo (on all sides) over a period of months leading up to and including the period of heavy bombardment of Serbia by NATO forces.

The Racak Massacre was the catalyst for the Kosovo war, but it never happened.  Associated Press TV crew had filmed a gun battle at Racak between Serb police and KLA guerillas. Also present were two teams of KVM monitors (international observers).  Does it make any sense that the Serbs would invite the press and observers if they were to execute a massacre of civilians?  The KVM observers saw no sign of a massacre nor did the villagers say anything about a massacre.  Dead KLA fighters from the battle were dressed overnight in civilian clothes and their bodies placed in trenches.

The following day, the head of the European observer team, a U.S. diplomat named William Walker, went to Racak at the KLA's invitation. He saw a collection of bodies, then proclaimed it a massacre and a "Serb atrocity" before the world.

Immediately U.S. President Bill Clinton, German Defense Minister Rudolph Scharping and others used this so-called massacre to charge Belgrade with "genocide" and to justify military intervention against Yugoslavia.

Bill Clinton said, "We should remember what happened in the village of Racak...Innocent men, women, and children were taken from their homes to a gully, forced to kneel in the dirt, sprayed with gunfire -- not because of anything they had done, but because of who they were."   This “staged” media event gave NATO the pretext to bomb Serbia for 78 days straight.  There is a report that the Finnish forensic pathologists who investigated the incident on behalf of the European Union completed that states there was no evidence of a massacre.  News like this or the news above does not make the front page or the lead story.  It is hardly published at all.
